I visited Israel with the Birthright Mayanot Group December 2018 through January 2019 for ten days. As someone who grew up with a Jewish father and a Christian mother, it was an honor to visit Israel and explore my Jewish heritage. We had an amazing tour guide Leiah, who taught us about Israeli culture, people, and history. While many young people go on this trip alone, I was able to attend with two of my closest friends from Philadelphia. Israel is a phenomenal city. I felt extremely safe and enjoyed meeting young soldiers. I would love to visit again in the summer and enjoy their warm weather.
