I was on a morning walk and had to google, “Teddybears in windows,” because I was so confused with what I kept seeing in people’s houses. A game played in countries around the world during the Corona Virus, the #teddybearhunt is a scavenger hunt game fit for social distancing. People place teddy bears in the windows of their home and families on walks try to spot them throughout their neighborhood. I personally witnessed this in Silverlake in Los Angeles and it brought on a lot of happy emotions. Feelings of community, memories from my childhood, and a reminder that there’s joy in the little things.
